For members of the Wessex Strut and any other Struts whose members fly in for the Vintage Air Tour on Sunday June 25th, we are offering free landings, free tea and coffee and fuel paid on the day, cash or debit card will be £1.47 per litre.

Lunch will be:

Chilli, chicken curry, cottage pie, faggots and mash, ham egg and chips or Ham, cheese or quiche ploughmans.

Crumble for afters.

£7 a head.

 July 1st – Blackmore Vale Revival – Classic Vehicle and Vintage Show  – 
Classic cars, lorries, aircraft wanted to take part. Come and join in at one of the vale’s best days out. A great family event with things to do and see. Dress up in period clothing and be part of the theatre that makes this event so different.

July 8th. Fly 4 Heroes

A fundraising day for the wonderful “Help-for-Heroes” charity. A great day out for all. Flights from just £40! All proceeds to Help for Heroes.

Flights in both 2 and 4 seat fixed wing aircraft will be availble along with Microlight flights in both fixed and flex-wing aircraft!

Noise abatement

All pilots are reminded of the importance of adhering to our noise abatement protocol when joining and departing.

Our advertised “Avoid” areas are the little RED blobs on the noise abatement map.  Please do not overfly these.

If possible make left turns when departing from 25… keeping the Marsh Lane Fish ponds on your right.  If you are landing on 07. .keep the ponds on your left.

Op hours for visiting aircraft: 9 am to 5 pm local, or sunset if earlier.

Cash or card payments only, please.  We accept all the major credit cards for sums in excess of £10.  Note that cheques are not accepted at the airfield.
